We design, supply, and install commercial ventilation systems across Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty. It’s part of our full range of commercial services, and we take it seriously.
Make the smart choice for comfort and peace of mind today!
Most commercial spaces in Tauranga have air conditioning. Far fewer have ventilation that’s actually been designed properly. And the difference matters more than most business owners realise.
Air conditioning recirculates the air already in your building. It cools, warms, and dehumidifies. But it doesn’t replace it.
Commercial ventilation design is a separate discipline that is vital in commercial spaces, as it ensures a healthy, productive environment. It brings in fresh outdoor air, removes stale air, CO₂, excess moisture that can lead to mould and discomfort, pollutants (like dust, allergens, and even airborne pathogens), and keeps your building compliant with the NZ Building Code.
This not only enhances employees’ well-being and productivity but also extends equipment’s longevity and creates a more inviting atmosphere for customers
Getting the design right up front is also significantly cheaper than retrofitting a non-compliant system later.

Good commercial ventilation design starts with understanding how your building actually works. The space’s size, layout, occupancy load, activities inside, and construction all feed into the design.
We calculate the air change rates your space needs to stay comfortable and compliant. Our systems are engineered to exchange the air in your environment up to 8 times an hour, ensuring a consistently fresh and healthy atmosphere for your employees and clients.
We’ll also walk you through the right system type for your building and explain our reasoning in plain language before anything gets installed.
The design process covers:
The right system depends on your building. Here’s how we typically approach different commercial spaces.
Best for larger commercial premises that require airflow to be distributed across multiple zones. Ductwork sits in the ceiling cavity, keeping the installation clean and out of sight.
Well-suited to smaller commercial spaces where a full ducted system isn’t the right fit. High-wall units mount just below the ceiling, while cassette systems distribute air evenly from a central ceiling position throughout open-plan areas.
Captures heat from the stale air extracted and uses it to pre-warm the incoming fresh air. Integrating a heat exchanger into your ventilation system enables effective heat distribution throughout your premises, retaining up to 75-80% of heat. A practical option for businesses where energy costs and air quality both need to be managed well.

Did you know that ventilation systems can significantly improve air quality and energy efficiency when correctly designed and installed? With over 30 years of experience, we’ll help you find the optimal ventilation solution that meets your commercial space’s specific needs, ensuring fresh air and maximized efficiency.
We’re based in Katikati and have been delivering commercial ventilation in Tauranga and across the wider Bay of Plenty for over 30 years.

If your business is in the Bay, we can get there.
If you’re fitting out a new commercial space, upgrading an existing system, or trying to work out why your current ventilation isn’t performing, get in touch to book a site visit, and we’ll give you an honest assessment.
We also offer ongoing commercial service and maintenance to keep your system running efficiently and compliant long after installation.
In most cases, yes. NZ Building Code Clause G4 requires all occupied spaces to have adequate ventilation. Commercial buildings that generate cooking fumes, chemical vapours, or high CO₂ levels due to occupancy typically require mechanical ventilation rather than relying solely on openable windows.
Air conditioning conditions and recirculates the air already inside your building. Ventilation replaces that air with fresh outdoor air. Most commercial spaces benefit from both, designed to work together rather than as separate systems.
It depends on the building type and its use. We calculate the right figure for your specific space and design the system around it. For most standard commercial environments, a target of up to 8 air changes per hour is recommended.
Often, yes. We’ll assess your current setup and advise on the most practical path forward for your building.
Yes. Our commercial service and maintenance covers ventilation systems across Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty. Regular servicing keeps your system running efficiently and compliant with ongoing maintenance requirements under AS/NZS standards.
